3. GAME FORMAT AND CONDITIONS OF PLAY
3.1 Game length
Each game consists of exactly 4 frames of each game type:
● 4 frames of 8 Ball US
● 4 frames of 9 Ball US
● 4 frames of 8 Ball UK
The games may be played in order however in the event of any dispute between players over the order then it must revert to that shown directly above - ie 1) US8, 2) US9 3) UK8.
3.2 Completion of commenced games
Once started, a game should be played to its conclusion in one sitting unless both players agree to a cessation. Where any player makes a unilateral decision to leave a game then the opposing team may apply for all the remaining unplayed racks and Win/Completion Bonuses to be awarded to them citing the grounds on which the application is made. If the application is successful then this removes any option for the original player to return and finish the remaining racks, or for the use of a substitute under rule 7.5. If the application is not successful then the game returns to the status of a Partially Played Game as per the terms of section 7.
3.3 Game room type
There are no restrictions on the game room type. Both players must agree on the conditions of the game room. If no agreement can be reached, the games must be played as friendly unranked games.
Spectators may be invited if both players agree.
The result of any completed game will stand unless both players (and/or clans) mutually agree to it being replayed.
3.4 Shot time limit
All games should be played with a shot time limit of 20 seconds. Shot time limit can be increased if both players agree to it.
